GULZAR AHMAD is an HEC Foreign Professor; Corporate Trainer (www.sencitec.com) and Counselling Psychologist by profession. He is currently serving as Professor, Department of Psychology at Lahore Leads University, Lahore, Pakistan. He qualified his PhD in Applied Psychology in 1998 from University of the Punjab, Lahore that was evaluated as equivalent to regionally accredited universities in US by the IERF Inc., a chartered member of the NACE, US. On the invitations of the US Department of Health and Human Services; Department of Education, Training and Employment, Government of Southern Australia; State Department of Education, Chile, and many other governmental and non-governmental organizations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, Dr Gulzar participated in over 80 national and international conferences and workshops, and gave many presentations on different subjects. His 15 research papers have been published in journals of national and international repute; some research work is quoted in UN and World Bank publications while 5 research projects are on the way. He supervised and evaluated over 500 research assignments of MSc, MPhil and MBA students. Dr Gulzar has excellent record of corporate soft skills training, national curriculum development, providing child, marriage and family counselling, effective teaching-learning methodologies, and teaching with research guidance for the graduate and postgraduate students in diversified areas of Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Social, Educational, Developmental and Business Management studies for over 30 years mostly, at GCU Lahore and some foreign international universities. He was honoured with excellent teaching awards by FBE, and the best speaker awards by the Toastmaster International Club, Bahrain. His interviews on different social, political and educational issues have been published in many countries and telecast on government and private national and international media channels including PTV, VOA, ABC network South Africa and Australia. Dr Gulzar is the President of Pakistan Council on Family Relations (www.familyrelation.org) and has/had been holding memberships and positions in over 40 national and international organizations around the globe. His biography is published with the highest honours in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, New Jersey, US and International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, UK in ten consecutive editions each. His hobby is brisk walking; he loves knowledge, beauty & morality; appreciates sense of humor, innovation, and aspires for peace, progress and excellent human development.
Dr Gulzar is certified Holistic Health Counsellor from US since 1988; and providing counselling and guidance in the areas of child, marriage and family at local, national and international levels.
